For the last few days, I really haven’t felt like myself. There has been a flurry of emotions — anger, despair, sadness. These last few weeks have been plagued with numerous mass shootings. Our young children are the latest victims in a cycle of shock, blame and inaction. Eight-year-olds piling onto the school bus, scrolling into class, anxiously sitting at their desks awaiting instruction were met with unimaginable violence. Their parents would never see them again, never tuck them in again. We say this must stop, but it hasn’t. Unbearable anguish overwhelms those left after the destruction caused by gun violence. Politicians keep beating their heads against the wall…
