Anti-Social

We were better before social media, more attentive and more attuned to our needs and the needs of others. Social media is a tool and we have to find ways to use it better. It is just a tool. It should not our everything. It is not a guide. It is not the foundation on which everything is built. The algorithms study us and tempt us. We aren’t more connected as they promised us. We are exactly the opposite. Instead of texting someone or calling them to check in, we scroll and see what they posted.
