We were better before social media, more attentive and more attuned to our needs and the needs of others. Social media is a tool and we have to find ways to use it better. It is just a tool. It should not our everything. It is not a guide. It is not the foundation on which everything is built. The algorithms study us and tempt us. We aren’t more connected as they promised us.
